Quite an interesting week, with the smoke we experienced from the fires just north of us in Canada. Needless to say, given the smoke, just a few anglers joined us over the course of the week. Most of whom joined us later this week, once the smoke dissipated a bit. It appears things have returned to normal with just a minimal amount of smoke visible at this point. Yesterday was our most heavily fished day of the week, with just 3 anglers taking advantage of the lightly pressured week, hoping the increased water earlier in the week brought some fish in with it. A number of bass reported between the anglers yesterday, with one of the anglers landing approximately 10 bass with the largest at about 4.5 lbs. No other species were reported this week. Water temperatures this week have settled in the range of 58-60 F. Conditions forecasted to the weekend look pretty optimal, with good cloud coverage keeping things cool for most of the weekend.
