With a week of clear skies and high temperatures reaching mid 80's daily, water temperatures have increased quite a bit, and angling pressure has decreased given the conditions. Water temperatures have reached upwards of 70F this week, which is a significant increase from temperatures of nearly 50F only two weeks ago. A couple of anglers joined us each day this week, with nearly all fishing the early mornings, making it off the water ahead of the mid day heat. A few anglers were on a specific quest for Atlantic Salmon, but all anglers indicated catching only smallmouth this week. Not quite an abundance of smallmouth, and quite spread out, but most anglers reporting having landed several each.
