Cold temperatures in the low 20's and snow gave way to blue skies and temperature near forty encouraged about a dozen anglers to fish the run. Good weather and the water level that began to drop around noon here combined to provide an excellent day to be on the water. As is frequently the case when we have falling water, the fishing was off bit, but that being said, all anglers that I spoke with were able to bring at least one fish to hand. One for one swinging flies, another went 3 for 5 (combining float fishing with bottom bouncing), "Did good. They were kinda hard to find, but did good", a pair got into six or seven and "landed about half of them,
and the last pair of anglers off the water at dark went four for seven. Not "lights out" fishing, but like they said "I'll take that all day."
