A half dozen anglers joined us on the run. Given the nice day that it was, I was expecting more, but perhaps the higher water, the task of making guacamole, nachos, and fried chicken wings kept our anglers away. Those that fished the run had a difficult time (in all likelihood due to the higher water and the unsettled state of things). A group of three anglers were only able manage one smaller fish (while covering lots of water), a angler that was swing flies managed one hard tug, and angler that arrived early afternoon and fished for three hours was able to bring two Steelhead to hand. At the time of this posting (4:45PM) the schedule release at the dame is to remain at 1200 cfs until midnight tonight and the current flow at Pineville is 1510 cfs
