Another day with temperatures into the high 30's and light and intermittent rain showers for the better part of the day. The fact that it is rain and not snow with temperatures near 40 for this time of year is amazing. We'll take it. We had about two dozen anglers take advantage of the conditions today and of those that I spoke with I would characterize the day as "very good". As I said I didn't speak with everyone and there were a few that failed to get into fish, but that was the exception and not the rule. Most got into multiple fish; characterized as fresh, bright, and full of energy. 3 for 6, 0 for 3, "at least six and lost a bunch"1 for 7 and one for 7. The bite was real light today which explains good numbers of fish hooked but not a good proportion landed.
