The winter storm hit the Pulaski area with ferocity around 11am and things got dicey quickly. The handful of anglers we had on the run headed off shortly after the snow hit, describing being hit with a wall of snow and wind like nothing they've ever experienced. One angler hooked into a decent steelhead mid morning, but things were quiet for most. The warm overnight temperatures brought a bit of morning runoff so the water was pretty stained. Reminder: DSR is CLOSED this weekend, Dec 24th & 25th. The bitter cold this storm brought will make the run unfishable due to slush on Saturday. On Sunday, DSR will be closed in observance of Christmas Day. All of us at DSR wish our guests a Merry Christmas!
