Much to everyone's surprise, we've jumped back down to a dam release of 750 CFS as of 7:00 AM this morning (12/1). The dam release was adjusted from 3000 CFS to 1200 CFS last night at 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM this morning, at which time it was dropped again to the current 750 CFS release. With such a substantial fluctuation, expectations for fish activity today certainly remained hopeful, but weren't high. Given the conditions, only handful of anglers joined us today, contending with some serious west winds and freezing rain. The anglers we were able to speak with this afternoon, reiterated the difficulty the winds presented today. It seems most of our anglers were able to hook a fish or two regardless. We are certainly hopeful after a day of acclimation that we will see just how many fish the 5 days of high water brought in with it.
