A raw day on the run today. Temperatures in the low-40’s and a brutal wind made things challenging for our anglers today. At the end of the day it looks like there may be clearing skies and we can only hope that the winds subside overnight. The lower section seemed to fish better than the mid and upper sections in spiteof the strong winds in that section). The reports from our anglers were mixed. Many that I spoke with had a “very good day” with decent numbers of chrome Steelhead and a few browns in the mix as well. Others that I spoke with came up empty which may have been a function of wind, one’s ability to deal with it, and angling technique. All agreed, however, that the fish are there in good numbers which is all we can ask for. Water from the dam remains at 500 cfs and the current flow at Pineville is 660 cfs
