consolidated 9 AM and 4 PM River Patrol fishing report: CFS at the dam remains at 335, CFS at the Pineville gauge is 560 as of the time of this report - water temperature 36 degrees this morning - air temperature stayed in the low to high 30s all day, overcast, relatively light winds, no precipitation - we never got any of the forecasted snow - the morning report was very encouraging, with almost all anglers getting into Steelhead, ranging from 1s upwards of 7s, and a few got into low double-digit action - it appeared that the activity was spread out across the entire run, rather than any one area - as guests trickled off the run, the good reports continued, with the middle section producing slightly better over the course of the day - one season pass holder remarked that almost everyone he saw had a bent rod, with others remarking "pretty good today" (high praise from some of these guys) - tonight's forecast is: Snow showers in the evening will give way to a mixture of rain and snow overnight. Low 31F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 100%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches. The forecast for tomorrow is: Rain and snow showers in the morning changing to mainly rain showers in the afternoon. High 44F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. You may want to give yourself a little extra time for driving, and be watchful for black ice on the roads and ice on bridges ...
