9 AM River Patrol fishing report: CFS at the dam 500 until 3 PM, then drops to 335 - CFS at the Pineville gauge 597 - water temperature 53 degrees, air temperature 44 degrees, mostly cloudy skies, with isolated patches of blue, periodic sunshine peeking through, very light winds, no precipitation at this time - estuary section is reporting Kings milling about, very little movement into the river - lower section reports primarily Kings, with three Steelhead in the mix there - the Kings are milling around, some going on upriver, others drifting back down - there are a lot of spawning fish in this section - the middle section is being described as "slow" or "steady", depending on where you are in this section, predominately Kings with a solitary Steelhead making an appearance here - the upper section is relatively more active, with a brief flurry of action at daybreak, since died down, and a mix of mostly Kings with a few Coho - we have plenty of full day passes for sale for today - afternoon only passes will be posted online for sale at 10 AM
