A little less heat, and a whole lot more sunshine with temperatures hovering around 70 F today. Surprisingly, just about a half dozen anglers joined us on the run. The anglers we were able to catch up with both indicated plenty of small mouth action, with a bonus steelhead in the mix for one lucky angler. Water temperatures were a recorded 62 F this morning and approached 64 F mid afternoon. Forecasted temperatures seem to be hanging between 60 and 80 F for the upcoming week. As for tomorrow, hold onto your hats. Tomorrow's forecast calls for variable clouds with strong thunderstorms. Damaging winds, large hail and possibly a tornado with some storms. High 71F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.
