PM Report:  Todays weather seemed more like Steelhead season than Salmon Season.   High temperature barely made it above 50 and overnight lows in the 40's.  Add to that overcast, grey skies and you had Steelhead weather.  It must be that the fish were taking note as the number of Steelhead brought to hand today increased somewhat.  Everyday, there seems to be an increase in the number of chrome Steelhead. Not great numbers, but good numbers of salmon continue to be brought to hand despite the somewhat higher water level.  An occasional brown trout and even a less frequent Atlantic showed up today as well (Including the nice male pictured below). The lack of rain today is positive news as it suggests that the flow from the dam may not increase and, (keeping or fingers crossed), might drop.  At this point the scheduled flow has not been updated and continues to call for 750cfs through midnight tonight,  Water flow at Pineville is currently 1040 cfs and is dropping.
