7 Oct '25: the Manor House guests' reserved area (the Upper Clay), is now OPEN to all categories of guests effective 12:09 PM; the South channel below the Glide remains CLOSED, for today, until further notice; any other updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. On Wednesday, 8 Oct '25, both of the Manor House guest reserved areas will be OPEN to all categories of guests for fishing. As of 9 AM we have 15 full day fishing passes to sell on a first come, first served basis ($105 each) we anticipate having around 45 afternoon-only passes to sell, ($65 each), starting at 1 PM The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/07/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 195. 9 AM report: Current conditions are: overcast skies, 66 degrees (high of 69 degrees forecasted), dead calm, dry. Water temperature is 65 degrees. The estuary section reported low guest density, experiencing slow fishing activity, with Chinook (King) salmon, which are moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The lower section reported moderate guest density throughout, experiencing good fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings, Cohos, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings only in the upper part, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The middle section reported moderate guest density in the lower part and low guest density in the upper part; experiencing good fishing activity in the lower part and moderate fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings, Cohos and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings only in the upper part, with fish moving upriver, as well as holding in pools. The upper section reported high guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity in the lower part and good fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead throughout, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools in the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part. The top section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with Kings, moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The forecast for tonight is: "Rain likely. Low 52F.
