The current dam release is 1800 CFS, where it is projected to remain until 11/21/25 at 8:00 PM, whereupon it will drop to 750 and remain there until 11/21/25 at 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently at 2040 as of 8:30 AM. Water temperature was 38 degrees this morning as of 6:40 AM.

Our guests dispersed to all sections of the run today, and were able to at least hook-up in most cases, with about half of them bringing one to two fish to hand. All sections fished equally well, with Steelhead the predominate species (almost all bright chrome), and a surprise fresh Chinook (“King”) Salmon showing up.

Successful Baits & Techniques: Beads in the 10 to 14mm size (pink most productive, followed by peach / tangerine, and chartreuse), drifted under bobbers, with swinging flies with some red in them, and egg sacks under bobbers, produced well, in that order.
